Organic Tomato Transplants for Sale

We are offering a limited number of organically grown tomato transplants through Rocky Mountain Natural Store.

All of our transplants will come to you in 1-gallon sized pots and are hardened off and ready to plant. Our pots are made of compressed recycled paper. For our potting soil we use coir (shredded coconut husks) that is more environmentally sensitive than peat moss as it does not deplete peat bogs. We also feed all our transplants a balanced organic fertilizer.

We recommend watering with a kelp soil drench after transplanting. (A local source for kelp is Rick's Garden Center). To prevent transplant shock, you can plant the tomatoes in these pots. Using a sharp knife, cut off the bottom, slit the sides and tear off the top at soil level, and plant the whole pot.
